The GameKlip is plug and play compatible with many devices. If your device is controller enabled, no additional apps or software needs to be installed. If you're having trouble connecting your controller to your device, these steps will help diagnose the problem.

Is your device compatible with controllers?

You can check the list of known compatible devices here:

Is the game you're trying to play controller enabled?

Not all games support controllers. It's up to the game developer to add controller support. If you're able to move the selection box, using the joysticks, on the home screen, then everything is connected properly. I'd suggest contacting the game developer to see if they're willing to add controller support.

If the answer to both questions above is "yes," then there may be an issue with the connection between the controller and the device. Please make sure the controller isn't connecting to a PS3 in another room before continuing.

Possible solutions:

  • Remove and replace the battery from your device.
  • Press the reset button on the back of the controller.
  • Try a different controller if possible.
If none of these solve the issue, please contact me. I'm happy to help!
